In the last presidential election, Donald Trump stunned America, and the world, by pulling off the most astonishing victory in US history. How did he do it? By harnessing a disgruntled electorate to beat an unpopular opponent.

Americans are frustrated and embittered with our politicians. Time and time again they have put rich donors and special interests ahead of American needs. Their only job is to get re-elected. Trump capitalized on this pessimism, this deep hatred of an ineffectual government, and promised a return to economic prosperity and patriotism. Make America great again!

Unfortunately, Donald Trump lacks the skills to fulfill the dream. Despite controlling Congress and the White House, he has been unable to fulfill any of his campaign promises, let alone return America to its former greatness. People wanted change and all they got was more of the same - a political that doesn’t listen to the people or care about their struggles.
